On the Road Again…
We’re at the Maitland City Muster this weekend…lots of great events happening and perfect way to start off a long weekend…so here’s what’s coming up…
Fri 1 Oct – Legends of Country Show 7pm – 10.30pm featuring songs of Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Chet Atkins and Ann Murray featuring Stui and Camille, Daniel Thompson, Bruce McCumstie and me at The Real Theatre, Maitland from 7pm. Sat 2 Oct – Heritage Mall Centre Stage with guitar, stomp box and dobro master Gary Brown at the Heritage Mall Centre Stage featuring new songs from the upcoming album from 1.00-2.15pm
Sat 2 Oct – Maitland Leagues Club with Bluegrass Band “Stones Throw” time 7pm-10.30 Featuring John Lee on fiddle, Nigel Lever on guitar, Gary Brown on dobro, Karen Willems on mandolin and me on Bass. Karen’s in top form at the moment singing like an angel…get along to hear some great bluegrass material like Ralph Stanley, Ricky Skaggs, The Cox Family, Pam Gadd, Claire Lynch, Dolly Parton, Del McCoury, Rhonda Vincent, Rob McNurlin and of course there’ll be some great fiddle tunes and some classic country songs thrown in the mix!
Sun 3 Oct – Heritage Mall Eastern Stage 12.30pm – 3.00pm with Nigel Lever, Gary Brown and me cranking through some classic country and honky-tonk tunes!
